A few days ago was the 20th anniversary of the September 11th, 2001 attacks. I’m sure many of you, just like me, took the time to pause and reflect on the tragedy that occurred that day. For many of us, that was why we decided to serve our country.

The Mission Continues is on a mission to connect veterans with under-resourced communities. They deploy veteran volunteers to work alongside nonprofit partners and community leaders to improve educational resources, tackle food insecurity, foster neighborhood identity, and more.
